We sure are, hopefully we can all come together in one place in the near future.

another thing that i hope substack gets right, is for people to pay one fee and be subscribed to a whole bunch of people at the same time. paying one person 5 bucks is alright, but what happens when you want to pay 8,9 or 10?

i love crime as well, reading karin slaughter, michael connelly and lee child at the moment. il be looking for something different after this, need to change things up lol.

A fiction…encampment where we all have sites, like some road famous for selling books, on Substack. And we do our own fiction.prompt each other if we have to, or ’Marys ‘Now What’

is good. And we show our bigger pieces in progress, or just show em. It’s a good idea.

I like crime, dark comedy, weird, interesting, slightly twisted characters, situations .theres a lot of people into fiction but they’re scattered about. Jda

I suppose the question is… what type of fiction and why do you seek it? Entertainment? Thrill? Soothing? Escapism? All valid reasons by the way :) And maybe what you seek is inside of you ready to be birthed. So you can write the fiction you wish to read and share that with us✨🤓

Hi Camille,

A bit of everything lol, i have been reading a lot of crime thrillers. lee Childs jack Reacher, Michael Connelly's Harry Bosh, Karin slaughter's will Trent series. guess i was just frustrated about going to the fiction section and not finding anything there. that might have gone into my writing.

I decided to subscribe/follow a ton of fiction people, whether it was what i was interested in or not. not sure if that's the right way of doing thing. but i have read a lot of cool stories.

which then lead me to read about stuff that is totally out of my comfort zone, this past week or two. i saw one of your comments that you made on a post a think. and i could see just from that, that you meant what you were saying. a lot of people just comment for the sake of doing it. so then i read a couple of your posts, wanted to say something but didn't, ill head over there now😁😁

To find fiction, you must be looking in the wrong places, JP. Some of us have a fiction tab at the top of our main page. I write a lot of flash fiction, short stories, and under the children's tab at he top, I also write children's fiction. I would consider it an honor if you stopped by and read some. I'm pleased to 'meet' you.
